Join eccentric Professor Fizzy in his 3x Emmy-nominated series as he discovers breakthroughs in nutrition, teaches kid-friendly exercise and food science, invents new recipes, and battles archnemesis Fast Food Freddy’s greasy schemes with fresh ingredients and healthy habits.
Originally debuting as the first-ever PBS KIDS web series in 2010, Fizzy’s Lunch Lab earned three Daytime Emmy nominations for Best New Approaches and spawned an album of original music, web games, 3 published books, and over 100 kid-friendly recipes.

Relaunch
From 2021-2025, I headed the development / distribution / licensing of new and existing Fizzy’s Lunch Lab content for web, AVOD/FAST streaming, and consumer products

With a character-driven, cross-platform approach to making food and nutrition fun, the Lunch Lab pioneered the kind of snack-sized (get it?) content that is now a cornerstone of on-the-go children’s entertainment.
Back to the lab
After 10 years, the show’s production company Hero4Hire Creative had the opportunity to reclaim the series rights and full content library from PBS.
In 2023, the Lunch Lab’s acquisition was the basis for a brand new IP portfolio and content distribution company, Pretty Amazing Productions.
Shifting my “Head of Development” title from H4H to the new company, I took the lead on developing a digital content strategy for the beloved legacy franchise.
