The Bongo Bakehouse was founded as a COVID quarantine response. You know that “quiet quitting” phenomenon they’re always accusing us elder millennials of? Well, this isn’t that.
Like so many during that time, I was looking for things that could make us all happy. As a lifelong home cook – in addition to my professional career(s) as a music teacher, social media marketer, and homeschool mom – I used my years of experience as an “inside kid” to transform my love of baking into something that could be shared with the world (or at least, with friends and family inside my “pod”).
Cut to three years and a couple rounds of vaccines later, and the Bongo Bakehouse is officially open for business!
